    Description

    A large, 3-piece, lacquer antique Chinese wedding basket with a bent elm and bronze handle. It has a red lacquer ground with black floral decoration. The wood handle has leather strapping and an additional bronze reinforced handle in the center. There is some splitting in the wood which I have pictured and some minor paint loss but this is a beautiful piece to behold! It measures 23 1/2 inches H (60.2 cm) x 16 inches W (41 cm).
