Antique Chinese Wood Money Box
This small wood box is used to as a money box or to store small valuable items.
The money would be dropped through the cutout opening in the top. Just below the opening are two boards that angle downward with just a narrow slot between them. This slot is too small for even a child's hand to reach inside.
As long as the the removable lid is secured with a small lock (not included), the money or valuables are secure in the box. With the lock removed it is easy to lift out part of the lid.
