    Description

    This antique Chinese carved wood box is in very good condition. It has brass banding and a brass locking hasp. This piece is 12" wide and 11 1/2" tall. It measures 10" from front to back. The wood has a rich, mellow patina. The hand carved wooden handle used to have a red wash, but it has been worn / cleaned away.  The handle does pivot out of the way to allow one easy access into the basket.  This item would make a cool handbag or purse.
