    Description

    Hand formed woven wooden basket with brass hardware and reinforcements. This is in very good condition for something this old, not to mention the type of materials used and the intricate construction. The woven cotton straps supporting the lid have come loose on one end and completely missing on the other, although the mounting stud is still present. The lid opens and closes on two small mounted brass hinges and the brass latch fits tight. The one piece molded wooden carrying handles are tightly mounted and fully functional.
