    Description

The 1945 15¢ postal stationery card, sent from Mexico City (Aug. 16, 1946) to Hanover in the British occupation zone of Germany, with military censor handstamp. German handstamp “House destroyed/Location Unknown.” The 15¢ card with proper UPU usage, in period, is a major rarity in my experience – I am aware of only one other example. Good condition. Bamert PC140.
