    Description

UVC DUCT CLEANER/Sanitizer, Whole House- Easy Install-Ozone Bulb with Timer.. Condition is "New".
If you can drill a 2 inch hole with the included hole saw you are almost done!
This kit comes complete with Ozone producing 25 watt/8000 hr rated Quartz UVC bulb and timer.  Just set light timer for about an hour of "ON" timer per day to treat the ducts and heating/AC for a whole house.
    * Included timer may vary but will be same type.
I actually came up with this set up because I have an older house with damp basement and every fall when the furnace kicked on I would get pneumonia/bronchitis for about a week.  Then again in the spring a less severe case would set in.
I tried duct cleaning and changing to HEPA filters and at best it would offer a few days of improvement in my breathing but it always puzzled me why a brand new "Super" filter would only work for briefly to keep me from coughing- coughing till my face was red.
Here's the part of the puzzle that was missing.
If you back track from your furnace filter through the ducts you end up coming out in each room of a house. When the furnace is on the air is sucked down through register to the filter then through the furnace and back out to the house.
What happens when the furnace/AC is in the off cycle?
Could there be dust mites/mold/pollen having a party in that fancy HEPA filter and riding weak backflow air currents straight to your bedroom?
    Let me ask you this.
What would happen if you or someone that was sensitive to allergens pulled a dirty furnace filter out and held it in front of their face for a while?
    They would have a reaction!
Traditionally the clean air focus has always been the output side of the furnace with the blowing air and the input(suction) side of the furnace has been ignored.
The beauty of this system and mounting it right before facing the filter in the airflow is because with the ozone- it can literally clean the whole system up and downstream.
The direct UVC light kills all the creepy crawlies in the filter then as an added benefit the ozone goes through the filter and kills mold/germs on the AC coils and beyond!
You can choose to mount your UVC light wherever you want in the duct system (AC coils is common) but I am a believer in the "facing the dirty side of the filter" approach as it has improved my life greatly as the dreaded fall/spring cycle is a thing of the past.
