This three-level antique Asian basket was originally used to carry food or other goods. It also could have been used as a "Wedding Basket" which was used to deliver gifts of food to newlyweds on the wedding day. It is made from split bamboo and closely woven willow fiber.
Extra large Three Tier 24 Inch Tall CHINESE WEDDING BASKET Woven Wicker and Bamboo Cane. Measures 24” tall to top of handle loop and 13.5” diameter to outside of frame. Has three stacked baskets with a rounded lid. Condition is "Used".
