VINTAGE CLEAN K&E KEUFFEL & ESSER PARAGON TRANSIT

Vintage K&E paragon transit. Overall in great shape. There are some blemishes to frame and tube but nothing serious. Optics are clean and bright. Crosshairs present and clear. All focusing functions work and are smooth. Compass works as does lockdown. Levels are fluid. Comes with case which is not original. I bought this from original owner who bought it in 1958/59 but not sure. He told me the original case was destroyed on a job site while he was using scope. So he bought a new case from K&E. As you can see transit shows little wear and was cared for. Box in excellent shape. I'm sure some cleaning/calibrating will be needed. Unit stands 15". Scope is 11 1/2" long. About 35 lbs with case.
