WORKING 1950s vintage Zenith television. Hard to find one that actually works.. Condition is "Used".
I have owned this for about 20 years now and have enjoyed occasionally playing old tv shows on this old tv. I connect it to a coaxial cable and play VHS tapes on my old VCR (included). I’m pretty sure this can be connected to a digital tv converter (included) for cable/satellite. (I think I have done this before in the past, but I like to use the VCR with my old westerns.)
Top and sides are simulated leather and metal bezel has some raised paint spots as shown on close-up photo.
The old mechanical channel tuner can be slightly turned to tweak out the old hum/roar to enjoy better sound with picture.
Tv is about 20” wide, 18” tall, 21” deep, with a 15” screen.
I think this is a 1955 model that I have played occasionally for myself and friends for 20 years. Since it is 65 years old, I can make no warranty about it or offer a return.
Of course, I do not leave any old electric device plugged in except for the time I use it, and would strongly urge no one to leave this tv plugged in when not in use.
Also included is a 1955 Zenith tv service manual.
